Keep in mind that a hollow bar will not have as much roll stiffness as a solid bar of equal diameter.There's a formula for figuring out the difference(no,I don't know the formula.I'm FAR from a math whiz).So you make your choice,more roll stiffness or less weight.

While weight is definitely a consideration, the added weight of the solid bar is about as low as possible and if anything it probably helps as the HHR seems to have a high center of gravity.

Yes and we have the "equal" size figured out, however it just wouldnt provide enough benifit for the cost difference...

I put this sway bar on my HHR and I am pleased i took a 90 Degree turn at 35 and had no tire squeal at all even with the stock tires. The Turbo Tech Racing customer service was great i purchased them under my brothers account on there website and because he has a Colbalt they contacted him to let him know that the cold air intake i ordered would not fit his car.

HHR Sway Bar Ordered

I ordered a sway bar tonight based upon the info in this thread. Looking forward to installing it once things warm up in NY.
