'07 getting ready to sell

Do you think it is worth putting new tires on before selling? I was thinking whoever bought it would want to pick out their own so just knock like 400 dollars off?

Yes you could just hold fast on your price, then if the buyer offers less or mentions the tires knock off some money, you won’t recoup the cash you spend for new tires no matter what brand.

Thanks - it's got really low miles but has been sitting a few months. I remember when tires were relatively inexpensive but the prices I see now are way up there.

Precisely, let the offer reflect what the buyer thinks you will except.

I HATE HATE HATE new tires on a used car. Seller expects me to pay for tire I woulda never bought.

I would much rather limp home on old tire and buy the ones I want.
