17" wheels

17" wheels

i can get a set of 17" steel wheels w/ snow tires from a co-worker. does anyone know if the 17" wheels will fit on the front?

Depends on which brakes you have. Not sure if 17"s will clear the Brembo's.

Andy, be careful of fitment, I think these are the only 17" steelie that will fit an HHR...from Pontiac G6:

I have those 17" steel rims, but I really want the chevy center cap, where did you get it, and do you know the part number?

Quite a bit of work to get them mounted, but worth it for a unique look...they are Billet Specialties engine valve cover breathers!

Here's how I mounted the base on the front:

And what they look like mounted:



Requires drilling & tapping rear hub center, and cutting/fitting/drilling of breather base parts to work. Also need a front axle retaining nut cut in half to attach to fronts. The star shaped piece surrounding the center in the pic of post #4 is a Caddy Catera (same 5x110 bolt pattern) wheel centercap with the center cut out of it...looks good surrounding the center, but couldn't really find a sanitary way of mounting them, so I'm not running them...for now
