20" Camaro wheels on an HHR LT2

I have a buddy who has a 2012 Camaro, he has put aftermarket tires and wheels on his car and offered me his stock Chrome 20's with like new tires for free, 245-45-20 fronts and 275-40 -20 rears. I have priced 1 inch 5x110 to 5x120 adapters on ebay for $26 each... crazy question...any body know if this would work????

With a set of coilovers and the right spacer, whats the offset on them, they are great looking wheels.

Without a spacer wheels from an RWD would normally stick out, with one they almost definitely stick out, and probably quite a bit.

That will depend on the offset and backspacing. Those that put the Solstice/Sky wheels on without spacers, those actually sink further into the wheel wells since the offset is 55 verses the HHR's 42.

No clue what it is on the Camaro. And I'm not a fan of using adapters. Seen to many horror stores what can happen with them.

The Camaro 2010-12 wheels are 20x8 front with a 35 offset and 20x9 rear with a 40 offset. They might not stick that much out with 20mm adapters using only the front wheels for both front and rear for your HHR well that so far what I got. If you do get the wheels and adapter let me know how far they stick out since I am thinking of doing the same.

mock up and measure back plate to outside lip of Camaro rim add 20MM and measure out from stud plate surface on the axle bearing, that will tell you how much it will stick out, then decide, sell the Camaro rims and purchase a set of rims for the HHR
