Anyone know if a 20x9 rim 40mm offset would fit?

 

A 225/35r20 should fit, but that's a pretty narrow tire for a 9" wheel. And the ride will be quite harsh. So realistically, no.

 

Ah ok, I figured there would be an issue but still wanted to ask lol. Having a hard time finding the style of rim that I want for my HHR. I really like the Niche Verona M168 style but am having trouble finding a similar style that will fit the hhr..

Realize that offset is not the only consideration when going to a wheel much wider that stock. Here's a thread that talks about it a bit.
