Anyone running 225/60r16 tires?

You should be able to unless the strut plate causes interference. however these are significantly larger overall diameter than stock. Stock is 215/55/16 or 25.3 overall diameter. The 225/60/16 work out to 26.6 overall diameter. Those is going to place your Speedo off by a decent margin and really lug the transmission down. Gearing would be longer which may make the Tranny need to shift more under load.

I seriously doubt you will clear the strut plates......
I squeezed 26.1" tires on mine, & only have .300" clearance between tire, & strut plate.
My stock tires were 215/50/17 = 25.5" tall..

Yeah I think I recall reading now that 26.2 was the maximum clearance for our hhrs. I wonder why TC wishes to run such a tall tire? Personally my hhr is already geared too tall for my taste 80mph in second lol. I'm coming from my last daily driver running 215/45/17 so I think the stock 16s ride great.

I am looking a pretty good deal :). I am currently running 205/60r16's so thought the diameter would not be too much different. After checking out that tire dimension calculator, I now see I will be adding almost an inch to the diameter. Have to go check current clearance. Looks like 55's might be best.
Thank you all for your inputs.
