Anyone running 235-50-17 tires?

As the subject says. I'd like to get a little taller/wider tire. 235-50-17 calculates out to be 26.25" diameter. Thanks,
-Tim

I believe 26.2 it about the tallest you can go until you hit the bottom of the spring perch.
No way that would fit on mine. I have the stock size tires, 215/55-16. They are about 24.25 tall and at most I could squeeze a tire that was about 26 tall. Maybe not even that much.

Tires vary in size, best to throw one on there and see

Thanks. I saw someone was running 215/55/17 (26.31" diam) in a tire that has a narrow tread pattern so I'm hoping the 235/50/17 (26.25" diam) would work. I think you're right. I may just have to try one.

Of course try fitting one on the front. If it fits, drop it on the ground, bounce it a couple times & then check the tread to strut plate clearance.

Hanging on the rack or jack is not accurate..

I was rollin on them

I was rolling on 235/50/R/17 on a 8.0 x 17 wheel with lowering springs, and am currently selling the wheels and tires. I had them on my 07 HHR. Now running 18"
