Anyone Running 245/45/17 or 235/45/17?

Finally getting ready to pull the trigger on a set of tires and now I'm trying to decide on the right size. I've got 17x17.5 rims and the factory 215/50's just don't look great. I thought about 225/50's but I wouldn't get anymore width...just a little more meat. I've pretty much narrowed it down to either 245/45 or 235/45 but wanted to see if anyone else is running them and if so how do they look...

The 245/45 will be about .22 taller. Width shoudn't be an issue. The 235/45 will actually be just a hair shorter that the stocks.

Yeah I used the discount tire calc and ran the numbers. I was a little worried about the width on the 245's and how they'd look on 7.5" wide rim. I found a Cobalt that was running them on a similar wheel and the 245's look pretty mean. It's not the final look I'm looking to go with on my wagon but I don't plan to buy any new wheels for a few years and I just don't like the performance or look of my factory tire.

Typo from my phone! The next wheels I get are going to be at least 9" wide, but for now I have to settle with what I got. Can you get me a pic of of your setup?

Remember I'm running 245's on a 7" wheel. What is the offset of your wheels?

42...I think I'd be fine with the 245's on mine. I'm really leaning toward the 245/45's

If your +42 then your in the same area as mine. I've probably got 1/2"-3/4" between the sidewall and the strut. Maybe a little more. I did an oil change recently and I remember looking up at the clearance while I was under there.

Yep, before I had a 225/45 and it was just a bit taller. 245/45 18 won't fit, too tall......
