Looking for a tire that is a bargain, yet provides great performance; I guess "bang for the buck" is what I want. Considering street and All-Season.

Falken ziex ze-612. I did get them one size wider at 235/40/18 but they are great tires and great price got em for under 100. And they come with a 40K tread life. Great grip in dry and wet. The only thing I noticed its not as responsive as the michelins but other than that they are way better than our stock tires

 

G-max03, looks like I'm going to get 50K on mine, they have been a pleasure to drive. I went with 255x40.

 

Don't think I'd go with these; too many posts about how bad they are in rain and snow. Need good snow perf here in balmy Minnesota.

2nd! Awesome tires! They're siped already and the sipes are locking, are awesome in wet weather and supposed to be good in snow too for a performance tire. Search online, there were a couple head to head battle comparisons with these tires by road & track or something

 

Idk about snow since I'm SoCal but these handle great in the rain. Perfect grip no problems

 

How about snows for the winter and then summer tires.
If you are planning on keeping it for a while its nice to save the summer tread in the winter and have a true winter tire.
All seasons don't work out so well where I live not sure about you.

I had a tire in the past that did very well on snow and ice, we took the SS to Edmonton for Christmas, I know what was I thinking, right. These tires were unbelievable. The Goodyear F1-AS, don't know if they even make it anymore. The tire I would buy if I were going back up there for Christmas is the Michelin Pilot sport. We put a set on banshee's stock wheels in 235x45x18, they fit perfect and do the all season thing in style.

I run the continental extreme contact dws.
They do a decent job in the snow, better in rain, excellent on dry pavement, but really suck in gravel.
I grew-up driving gravel roads, never had a butt pucker moment. but just last week with the continental tires i had one of those moments that would make your heart race. i wasn't even going fast at all, maybe 20 mph when i turned the wheel and the car went into a full sideways skid.
I'm sure it's the tire's.
