Thanks Uncle fester Adams family rocks . SS or not, Exactly the same , I don't think so. Tinted headlights with custom inset bolts, Tail lights with bolts , Functioning cold air intake hood scoop, Black B&M short shifter , Carbon fiber pedals, Custom shorty ant. , custom cut overlays -(all) , Yellow calipers , custom armrest. blacked out yes, exactly , not so much. You can change the word custom , For the words "done by my hands".

All that said i think your HHR rocks.

Your not wierd I'm still trying to understand the black rim thing. I see them alot, I'm guess i'm old (40), I think the SS Chrome rims look sweet. When I was a kid the goal was always to get some chrome rims, for your ride. I personally like the polished or machined look. Is the blacked out look, going for a sleeper look? I dont hate the blacked out rims, just dont understand, someone enlighten me, I hate being out of style.

I believe it is a discontinued hood scoop, But they can be found on ebay. you will have to cut the holes in it as it comes with little fake grill stickers to stick on the plastic panels. It would look killer on your ride, IMO its just the right size for or hoods.

Old , well i'll be 46 in a few days. Theres nothing wrong with chrome or polished rims, I love the look, I just need a change every so offten, Look threw my photos and you'll see a lot of dif. looks i've done to my ride. The hottest ones stay , others get changed.

And remember, If i decide, I could have these rims back to stock in a few hours. IMO when i see clean black on a car , truck, The more the better. I hate the baby moon hub caps on any car, But i respect the persons personal touches . I hate 30" rims on a candy green 1982 impala, But i'm not paying for them, And can understand that it's there opinion of how they want it, And i have nothing to do with it.

TO EACH HIS OWN !

Heck i may change the yellow to slimer green and change my name to the swamp thing . But i can. Regaurdless of what the masses think.

was looking through your gallery Batman...did your SS come with yellow stitching on the steering wheel or was that a mod? Very subtle touch that goes well with the black/yellow theme. Not sure how many notice that, but I did :)

Nice catch . It's the subtle touches that make it all mine.

It's not the fastest SS here, It's not even the nicest looking.

But it's my vision ( funds involved ) Of what i want to drive.

I have done mods that are there for 2 days , and then i'm like no. I don't think so. (you don't see those) But it's a process that may change weekly, (I guess i'm the sick one ) But it's fun messin around, It keeps me in the garage and out of trouble. MOD ON.
I would like to think i've done a few things that someone here sees and says , Dam thats cool , I'm doing that. So it's just a fun thing , And after all its just a car, No i don't think so.

Looks real good Batman, You had a vision and you went with it. I'm 53 and this is my first time with black custom wheels. My boys even thought I was losing it but now they're asking for the keys.. Dare to be Different!

It's all good, 99% of my mods are reversable.

The hood scoop , Not so much.

I'm not planing to get much for the bat ride when i'm done with it. So in the future , i don't want to be thinking , Dam , That's what i should have done with that o'll HHR.

So I'm trying every thing.
