Chevy Indigo Blue Rims
Well I have to eat my words Those are plastic Covers on my HHR that are adhered to the aluminum rims. Well Ill be dipped in Sh9t.





I put a larger magnet on it like you would use to pick up a lost tool and it barely grabs the rim only because of the coating.

I would guess its because it may be an American made product, it used to be cheap to make products here now it is not. You could buy some American racing rims,However I don't know but I don't think they are made here.
I think that Gm made these wheels because they are light and should be cheep to make them look like new again. however I haven't seen replacement parts for these type of rims yet so who knows?
It IMO saves GM money to make rims like these that way they don't have to spend time and money on a CNC router and at the trim line getting polished and clear coated. but they sure didn't pass the saving on to the consumer on this one.
