I like the look...a lot.
When looking at getting steelies for this winter (net year I think some winter rims are in order), asked at Canadian Tire, just for kicks. Suprisingly, the guy new about the SS and said they wouldn't fit.
I wasn't going to argue, but I think, as was mentioned in a winter tire thread, and in the manual regarding the small spare, is that that only certain wheels would fit...due to large calipers.
Since those larger calipers actually never did make it onto the 08 SS, I think there's some misinformation out there at tire shops (but it is out there) and thus these places aren't even bothering to attempt to put these wheels on.
