2011 HHR ...So confusing to get a 2nd set of basic steel oem style replacement wheels. Here in the snow belt, I purchased Master Craft Glacier Grip winter tires, wow do they work good in snow. I dont want to pop them off every spring. I run Michelin's in the summer. I need a 2nd set of basic steel wheels and found some at Summit racing. Getting the correct part number is difficult to say the least. Dorman's own website is ridiculous, giving you one option on wheels which I dont want. ebay has the wheels and sez it fits my 2011 HHR, use that same part number at Amazon and it does NOT fit my car. Summit listed 25 dorman wheels for my car, some 4 bolt which I know is wrong. Tires are 215/55/16. ebays part number is 939-159 . I'm lost. its Sunday otherwise i'd call dorman. Anybody here purchase dorman basic steel wheels w/16 holes in them and remember the part number? thanks

2011 model year, some websites say dorman 939-148, which has a different bolt pattern 5 x 115 bolt pattern. others are 5 x 110..

A&M auto shows 939-159 for Dorman 16" 18 hole Base wheels.

You can put "Dorman 939-159" in E Bay and also Froogle.com to check out some buying options.

HHR wheels are tricky. There is so much conflicting info you need to actually put your hands on the product to get correct info.

I have seen where 1 site says 5 spoke and another says 20 hole and they have pictures of the opposite. Dorman has the same conflicting info in their catalog.

DON'T get cheap Chinese wheels. The bolt circle is a hair off the spokes break. Chasing tires down the road is no fun.

Or, hit the wrecking yards. I'm sure you could come up with 4. Even if you had to go to several places.

Did you notice Tire Rack is the sponsor vender for this area of the site, an then there’s RockAuto and their discount code, worth a look.

FWIW:

I just recently put 4 New 5 Spoke Dorman steel wheels with New 215/60R/16 Michelin Ice3 tires on my 2011 2LT and I can tell you they run as smooth as glass.
After the break in period 500 miles I ran them up to 70mph on a newly asphalt paved hiway for just a short distance and there is not one spec of any vibration in the car, front or rear.
Very Pleased......

I checked tire rack and they do have stock replacement wheels, they are quite a bit more than Summit. I googled wheel spacing and then I pulled the hub caps off and got out the calipers. They are 110 mm on the spacing for sure. So that narrows it down by a lot. Summit's price ranges for $48 to $75 depending on which wheel it is and they have free shipping. i'll post the right part number once I get it figured out.

It is definite that the LS/LT stock wheels are 5 X 110 bolt circle 40-42 offset 16 X 6.5. Optional 17 inch or 18 inch rims.

The Dorman part number I came up with is 939-159
16 inch wheel, 6.5 width and 40 mm offset, 5 X 110 spacing
$58.95 each at Summit. ( free shipping )
So far this is the best price i came up with but I'm still looking.

edit: i went to the Dorman website, typed in my vehicle info and the 939-159 part number and there website says" sorry this item does not fit your vehicle"
They want to sell me 939-110 a 5 spoke black wheel https://www.dormanproducts.com/gsear...parttype=Wheel

Ya see the confusion, even dorman cant figure it out. Its the only wheel they list on their website for my 2011. Ahhhhh

This just back from a Dorman chat session;
"we list our parts by OEM number cross reference, that is how our applications work and are attributed to our listing, that wheel most like will indeed fit the vehicle, but that particular hub cap would not, that is why it is listed that way, the wheel hubs are the same, so offset should not be an issue, we just have not physically tried the application on here in our shop",

Not sure why they say that, the hub caps are held on by 5 plastic nuts that attach to the original lug nuts.
