Lol. My Spring Edition 16" are peeled to SH-T already. Whats the difference?

Thats a decent price for factory lookalikes, but you may be able to find cheaper aftermarket looking ones. Matter of personal preference I would say.

I bought 17" hhr reconditioned polished rims from all factory wheels.com. They look like new, could not be happier, 220.00 each. Fast shipping, no hassle company. They are also on Ebay.

I think I may have found soms 17" chrome ones at a steal. I have 16 inch steel wheels on there now, but I guess I can just switch them out and try to sell those and the firestone tires on them.

I wonder what shipping from Miami would cost?

Personally, I think you need to shop around. that price sounds way too steep for what you are getting.
There are many wheels out there to fit HHR's in a lot of different styles and sizes, for a lot cheaper, and a better looking wheel. I be real leary of any wheel over $200 Ea.
Later, when I do wheels, the ones I'm looking at, are $160.00 ea. and I'll probably sell my stock SS wheels for $200 Ea. [less than 8000 miles-pristine-no marks].
Shop around and get a better looking, cheaped priced wheel. "Moon"

I am a long time eBayer, I have never had a bad experience but that is because I am careful. One thing I would never buy on Ebay is rims unless they are from a trustworthy individual and are genuine factory take-offs. A local bought rims for his Mercedes that looked good but were unuseable do to being out of round and who knows what alloy they were made from.

Ok, I think I found some aftermarket ones from tirerack.com. They are slick looking, silver painted, super cheap (almost disposable at $99 a rim) and some internet research has turned up that the company good CS and decent quality product. This way I can get those steel wheels off for now and save up for some nicer ones.

Thanks for all the help gang.

I'm right with you brother! Note in the e-bay ad in the first post:

Returns: No Returns Accepted

Re rims, I for one would only do an "eye to eye", cash on the barrel transaction. Even then, they need to be fitted on the car and spun to check for bends or roundness. We found some locally on Craigslist, but when we met the seller in a common meeting place to look at and fit them, the were not what they were supposed to be. The guy's wife had them on her Honda and she loved to kiss curbs.

We ended up buying new units from TireRack (which we have done many times in the past) and will be getting our new rims next week (5 spoke, black cast with red outline stripe). At least with TR, you have a recourse.
