No cheap chinese tires for me. I would rather send my money elsewhere when I can avoid it.

Okay, then, what are everyone's $500 and under recommendations? Yes, I will have Blizzaks I believe for winter tires. I can do performance summer tires, but I don't want out the rear end expensive..

GOODYEAR F1as, they do it all, took them to Canada for Christmas 3 weeks all snow and ice over 4 mountian ranges. They will not hydroplane I've tried 80 into 3" standing water,no lift, and they corner incredibly well with the carbon fiber sidewalls, have 13,000 miles on them cant see any wear yet and I am not merciful on tires for an all season they get a ten.

Very little price difference between those and the GT ultra high performance and they have limited sizing........ Tread design is the same as what I have. Your call

Can't go wrong with the Continental Extreme Contact DWS's, wish I had waited and put them on Paddy instead of the Michelin Primacy's, live and learn as they say.
