Can anyone help me out/ I'm looking to find steel wheels for the winter for my HHR SS with Brembo brakes.

 

you need 17" minimum and 5x110 mm for the bolt pattern. As far as the tire you put on, get the diameter to match your 18" set up.
If I'm wrong, someone will correct me...
I scored well with tirerack for my wife's Honda. $45 per rim.

hey dagger, Lots of guys have them one should happen along soon, I have run mine up into the great white north, on all seasons. eagle f1 was an amazing tire, it will drag you through more snow than your front spoiler will clear. But, they suffered a belt separation at 17k kinda soured the experience. Switched to Gmax 03, way smooth ride and they worked in the snow, not al well but I went from 225's to 255's I'm sure thats a factor on such a light car. I seem to remember they said some 17's will clear your jumbo brakes.

 

A side note..since the wheels are clear coated much like the car body..winter care is not much different then summer...unless your looking to run snow tread. I'd change the brake pads to ceramic first as brake dust is worse. There a quite a few people who run year round with no problems...
