How to clean Black Chrome Wheels
Ladies and Gents:
I have detailed cars for nearly 30 years - but now I am in a bind. My HHR is now rolling on it's third set of Black Chrome Wheels since it left the factory - and I really do not feel like putting on a fourth.
Does anyone have a good suggestion for the care of these seemingly delicate wheels (outside taking them off - putting them in a box, and putting on a set of aftermarket or other HHR wheels)?

You should be able to treat them as if they were painted...... That plastic coating is much like any clear coated wheel, only it's tinted. So, no harsh chemical cleaning (I.E. Wheel cleaning products). If you wouldn't use it on your hood, don't use it on the wheels.

Chris, the key is to keep wheel weights off of the outside face, and don't run 'em in the salt
Oh, and never mount tires on 'em Especially with the gorillas that work at most tire stores! That's why I don't like coated wheels!
