I am about to purchase Bridgestone Potenza RE760 Sport 245/40/R19 for my Rial Nogaros. But I'll make a few measurement, before, just to make sure they will fit.

I wanted to buy 255/35/19, but the rim width range for the 255/35/19 says 9.5 -10 inch, and the Nogaros are 8 inchers.

Yup! I used the 1010.com tire size calculator to figure out what would be the best size for the Nogaros. Then I checked the tirerack web site and found the Potenza's 245/40/19 has a 780 rev/mile VS 800 rev/mile for the 225/45/18 Michelins we have on the SS. Circumference is 83.7 inch for the 245 VS 81.58 inch for the SS Michelins. My only concern that they might not fit, is for the rear wheels, as the plastic inside the rear wheel well seems to be very near to the tire. Look like one inch at most.

your adding 1 in height to the top of the front tire...it will hit the strut....

Your max diameter is just about 26 inches. Anything more that that, may not clear the strut. I wound up staying with the stock size on my Hydroedges, because of that. Even stock tires look pretty close to that strut, though it does clear.

Last summer I put on a set of Kelly Navigator Touring Gold (http://www.kellytires.com/cfmx/web/k...artireid=63538). All I can say is that they have been one of the best sets of tires I have ever owned aside from a set of Yokohama's I had on my Catera. The Kelly's handle very good and are excellent in rain and snow. So far they are wearing very well also.

I was out in some very heavy rains today, combined with 10-30 mile per hour gusty winds. Between the poorly maintained freeways and the not properly crowned 55 mph back roads I was driving through a lot of standing water, side gusts and semi truck draft winds. The Goodyear's took it all in stride without flinching.

Between the tires and the rear leveling spring/rear sway bar mods I had the most stable car out there.

If money is no object Toyo T1R's I've worn out 2 sets of them In 90,000 miles working on the third awesome do everything right besides money. I'm running the goodyear F1's on the SS and they ripped through a midwest style down pour running rivers on the freeway at 70 left all others in the spray today. And I got a 50.00 rabate from Disc. Tire and 80.00 from GoodYear 670.00 - 130.00 = 540 cheap Would love to have the T1R's but they were double that and I had a lot of other mods I wanted.
