You have made 2 or 3 earlier posts in this thread, now this one sounds like your a bit jealous or something? Maybe I misread it.
You could have posted a pic of yours saying- "Nice wheels I got some like it two years ago on mine, they are sweet aren't they.
That would have been a Cooler way to post that you have them as well.
I think the chosen finish has caught some peoples eye and that may have something to do with the extra attention? Shiny.
The painted silver finish is a much duller looking finish.(Nothing wrong with that if it's the Look your after.) Just not as Popular as Shiny i'd guess.
Thats why Silver Cars never really look as dirty after a rain, compared to a Dark colored car. (My Black Panel is Filthy looking after a Drizzle here.)
Myself I would have gotten them in all Chrome, but thats my preference.
I ended up with Non clear coated aluminum wheels myself, Not my first choice in wheels, but the Price and Timing was right, for the used set, and they look similar. Alot more upkeep tho.

BTW- I love your Skull center caps.
My center caps are dome shaped with Boyds signature engraved into them.
Darn right I'm jealous.
The painted silver finish was not my first choice, but it WAS the closest match to the old "as cast" torque thrusts that I fell in love with as a kid looking through the JC Whitney book. Back then, there was only a choice of 5 spoke mags or "slotted" wheels for custom wheels.
My rims are 17x7, but they do stick out a bit. I believe Romeo has 18's and there is some difference in the offsets, as his tuck in under the wells better.
I originally saw chrome TT type wheels on someone else's post, but they never replied to any messages or emails, so I think they are a FORMER HHR owner.
The Boyd Coddingtons are real close, but mighty expensive.
The problem with Torque thrusts is the old school wheels were a very deep dish design for rear wheel drive. For front wheel drive, you'ld have to mount them backwards, just won't work, and the design is not good for FWD.
They ARE Mustang bullit wheels, redrilled to 110 bolt circle. price are very cheap compared to most aftermarket wheels.
