chefhhr, A happy wife is a very good thing......

 

She doesn't get off until 6:00 so really I just have to work it out with my mother-in-law. I normally pickup my daughter at around 5:00 so basically its an extra hour or so she'll have to watch her. I've already got the ok from her so as long as the day goes smoothly at work, I should be good to go this afternoon.

 

I've got to stop by ACE Hardware on the way home from work, you should meet me there about 4:30 if your done.

 

I'm not leaving work until 4:15...got a 5:00 appt up in Hiram so I probably won't be done and home until 6:30 or so. If you are around this weekend let me know. I've got housework and cleaning to do so if you around, shoot me a text and I'll ride over.

 

I'll be in NC this weekend.

Daugher has her state gymnastics meet the next.

Then her birthday the following..

Not too many free weekends coming up.....

 

I'll be around all evening tomorrow and I should be home tonight around 6:30. We'll get together at some point...

 

No wheels today. Had a guy that decided he wanted to deliver one pallet of tables to work at 430 and it took him 30 mins to back into my dock. Guess it was not meant to be.

 

30 minutes to get it backed into the loading dock, let me guess, was the truck bright orange?

 

The guy acted like he had never backed up a tractor and trailer. Give me another night to ponder on my wheel decision I guess.

 

Chances are that he "HAD" never backed up a semi before. Ask any experienced OTR trucker their opinion of the drivers in the bright orange trucks and be prepared for some entertaining stories of things you'd never think were possible to do with a truck.

I had one of them get his rig so discombobulated trying to turn it around in my NY store's lot that we had to call a heavy duty wrecker to drag it out, well after the wrecker driver stopped laughing so hard he was crying.
