I just bought a set of BF Goodrich TA radials stock size with 4 wheels from DiscountTiresDirect and got a really good deal. I got all 4 tires plus rims shipped mounted and balanced for $730- $60 rebate= $670. I stuck with 16" with 215/55/16 tires as I'd rather have the bit more sidewall, and the tires are considerably cheaper in this size than in 17" sizes. I have used the TA radials on several cars, and have never had any issues with them whatsoever. I've only had them on my HHR now for 1 1/2 weeks, but they so far handle just fine wet/dry. I've always gotten good tread life out of these tires.

voigtsga-

Those BF G T/A's, I have used on cars in the 80's, Although they are an old design. I have no complaints on them..
I had them on my last S-10 also.. IIRC ? They have a warranty of 5 or 6 yrs..

Did you read the date codes to see how fresh they are ?
