When the Pilots are gone they will be replaced with the newer Goodyear Eagles.

I have been running the Goodyear tripletreads in the winter and they have been great. I have them on the GTP for the wife year round and they also could not have been better for all around performance and wear.

Never heard of them. IT sounds like a skin cream.

Are they a private brand from one of the larger companies like Riken?

A friend had them on his Mustang. He bought them in a wheel and package deal. They are definitely a lower quality second-tier tire

Nexen is junk. I am in the tire business, I see the tires that last and the ones that don't. Nexens are definitely in the 'don't last' category.

Michelin is over-hyped and over-priced. You spend close to $200 a tire, sometimes more, for most sizes. In two-three years, they are already dry-rotting in the sidewalls and the treads. Most basic Michelins are only rated at 60-70k miles also. You can get a Bridgestone for alot less, and have a better tire IMO.

I didn't pay anwhere near that for my HydroEdge Michelin's. They ran between $130 and $140 each, and they are a 90,000 mile tire. I've had four of them on my wife's car for over five years, they still show no wear, no cracking or rotting anywhere on any of the tires, thery look virtually the same as the brand new ones on the HHR. Of course its all a matter of personal preferance, and though Bridgestone is IMO an ok, tire, I have never had one last more than 25,000 miles.

i replaced my 06's tires with bridgestone potenza GO19's and after 5k the edges were feathered and made all kinds of noise.....i traded them in for a set of firestone firehawk gt(not the gta) and they lasted about 10k before doing the same thing.....i finally traded them in for some firestone affinity and they were the smoothest tires ive ever had. now is time to replace the 08 2lt's tires and im lookin at michelins......
