Well I did it. painted them black. a clean & sand, few coats of plastic friendly gloss then a dry & they're on the car. Gonna wait a day or 2 then put a nice clear on to protect. hope you like them. i think they look better than my ****ty photoshop job
They do shine more than in the up close pic

thanks. tried some clear on a test plastic bottle i painted with the black & the clear reacted with it. so since i can't find the Krylon plastic paint in clear looks like i'll just do a fine sanding & a couple more coats of black.
