It was standard except on rentals. One of those things they leave off fleet vehicles to keep costs down. I seem to oneton saying that they didn't have remote start when this subject came up before.

It's not about cost on rentals. If I remeber correctly, the remote start is thrown in on autos at no additional charge.

It's about safety and liability issues.

That and people would want to figure out how to use it.

I have driven several LS, 1LT and 2LT rentals and a 2008 rental with remote start.
