Are the 5 x 110 spacers still for sale? I'm interested if they are. Please call Bruce at 716-598-0563.

Sharp Rims,
I agree with you about using lightest rims you can. I do it too, even on my Bikes..

I may be wrong, but I recall hearing something like every 7lbs of rotational mass will net 1hp.

General consensus (depends on the site you go to, I've seen as low as 2lbs. and as high as 10lbs.) is 1lb of rotational mass is about 6-7 lbs of static weight. So I shed about 8 lbs of rotational per wheel, plus 3 lbs per tire on the factory set up, 11lbs. 11x6= 66lbs x 4= 264 lbs static weight.

100 lbs loss = to about .10-.15 sec in 1/4 ET.

The HP will never show up on the Dyno, but rather in acceleration and movement since the engine doesn't have to work as hard to get the wheels moving.

I could be high or low on the poundage depends on where you go to, but the bottom line is the wheels and tires are lighter then factory and I love the way they look.

I knew it was something like that. I know switching to a 520 chain and dropping 20 other lbs off the 675 made a big difference with the butt dyno.

Nice choice. My SS is also red and any kind of black/anthracite coloured wheel toughens it up a little. I am looking for a set myself. Show some pics when you have them mounted on the car.
