Question Ralley Wheel Question

I've got ALL Winter to consider what I want to put on for wheels in the spring, and I'm really liking these ralley wheels, but can someone tell me Why these might not fit my ride? I have a 2008 HHR 4DR LS Package. I currently have the Steelleys with Hub caps. (My goal is to keep what the car came with for winter usage, and buy some new rubber and rims for Summer Usage. Here's the Link of the Ralley wheels I speak of. Thanks in Adavance for all you knowledgable HHR Owners out there.

stock offset is 42mm...

There are a few other members using these tho.. Whether the 32mm offset is a typo ? (IDK), I would speak to a tech @ Summit..

But I would NOT but these in chrome, 6 months later & you will be trying to wax RUST..

Not triple Plated chrome. Just a warning, from what many others here have posted.

Thanks for the Great advice as always.....definately would only run these in the summer months here in PA, However definately don't want them if they rust up that easy. Thanks all. I'm going to continue the search of the ultimate affordable 16" Wheel......

If that offset listed is correct, they would go right onto a PT-snoozer or a Vibe, but be 10mm closer to the inside of your wheel well than stock. That MAY work, but you'd need to measure it and think it over.

If I was going to buy those (which I'm not) I would deal directly with Wheel Vintiques rather than dealing with Summit Racing through eBay. All Summit does is act as a middle man on ebay. I bought a dash emblem from Summit through ebay and what Summit did was take my order, order the item from the manufacturer (The El Camino Store) and then it was sent to me. That plus I'd trust the manufacturer to know their product better than Summit who, in this case is simply a vendor using eBay as an extra and unnecessary step in the process.

Googling the part number, everyone shows the offset at +32 and 5"BS. I know several run them, The +32 offset just means they will stick out further that the stock wheels by 10mm.

Which is actually not bad...I don't think you'd really even notice it much.

I think the wheels are sharp...I had toyed with the idea of taking my wagon a different direction on the beginning and I had looked at a set of these. I just hate the maintenance involved with polished rims...like sleeper said, stay away from these in chrome.
