Smile Rims 18" 8,5" Offset 35 - Tire 225/40/18 - will these fit?!

Hey,
have a little rim/tire question:
have a 2008 LT HHR 2.4L with stock rims (17") on it.

Will fit these Rims:
18" 5x110 8,5" Offset 35

with these tires:
225/40/18

Eibach lowering springs installed.
Can i use the stock bolts or are they too short?!
Are any modings needed?
I already checked sizes with http://www.rimsntires.com/specs.jsp
but my misgiving is that the tire/rim is to close to the springs or something else?!

Thanks in advance
Mateng

P.S.: Hope you understand what i wrote ... sorry for my bad english ... i'am a german HHR-Driver and my english isn't the best

I am not sure if a 8.5" wheel will fit or not without rubbing issues. the only place you would have to worry about them rubbing at would be against the strut.

why would you put such a skinny tire on a 8.5" rim. I have 245s on a 8"

Thats the fashion now, stretched tires on wide rims.
