Was wondering what the smallest wheel possible is (15" or 16") for an HHR SS. Been spending alot of time at the track with the car and would like to try running on a set of DR's. Thanks in advance

 

Depends if you have brembos or not ?

 

15's will fit if you don't have brembros.

No brembos and still stock. Dyno sheet showed me at 265.2whp/257.9wtq. Track numbers are in the mid to low 14's if i can get my shifts down. I have a set of slicks and a set of drag radials from my old car. Both for a 15 inch rim.

 

You say that 15: rims will fit an HHR. I have looked high and low for 15's and everyone says that no one makes it. If you know the brand of 15" wheel that will fit a stock HHR of any year or model please post the information on site.

What mods do you have?

 

The 15" rims from the 04-08 Malibu will work, and by using 205/65/15 tires you'll be within .08% of the stock size in overall diameter so no issues with tires rubbing on the lower spring perches. Also the 15" rims from the Saturn "L" series will work with the same tire size.

 

Stock and 265 wheel hp?

 

Yea, can upload the dyno sheet for it. I looked at the guy funny, but we dynod my buddys VW Corrado after and his numbers matched up to his last dyno run at another shop. 4 hp under on this one.
