Talking Switching rims, Little help?

I understand this will change things on my hhr such as odometer readings and mileage ,
I also understand that RWD oem rims should be kept with RWD cars, with that being said ,
About 5 years ago I bought a 2011 HHR LT it was a dent and scratch last car on the lot deal
well here i am about 70k miles later, still dented up but running like a champ pretty much so thanks to this board ive been lurking on the last few years.
I de-powdercoated original steel wheels and redid them gunmetal gray, with shiny lugs. Im ready to change it up.
Usually if i need an answer I keep reading until I find it here. In this case I feel I dont trust my judgement.

So I have a set of 2008-2012 19 CTS rims that i think would look sharp on the hhr.
Front
Cadillac CTS Rims 19x8.5
Part number= 9597711
5x120mm with 45mm offset
Rear
CTS rim 19x9.5
PN= 9597608
5x120mm with 43mm offset

If i run these tires with 225/35/r19 tires I think the odometer reading is calibrated 98-99% not enough to stress about on this high mileage beast I never plan on selling.

So my question is can a simple wheel adapter (5x110 to 5x120 ) and proper tire size be all I need?
Here's an example of what im thinking.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/4-Wheel-Ada...-/261215404048
I've read some people have had success with 19x8.5's up front but what about 19x9.5 in the rear?
Id like to implement the offset within the adapter for front and rear, is there a all in one solution?
I want the honeycombs style on my hhr and i think this is as good as its going to get without costing me an arm and a leg. (although I dont mind adding a little money in its ascetic to take away from the dents and scratches)

Stock offset from what I've can come with is 42MM positive.
Which way are the offset of the ones you are looking at ?
Total tire height is dependant on tire size.
8.5 and 9.5 rim width seems excessive without proper clearances.

Something to look at:

-snip-
Id like the offset to create proper clearance, and a natural look. The rims being 2 inches wider then stock up front and 3 inches in the back is a bit excessive I agree, I know my adapter need some sort of thickness added to it. (pretty sure a 7.5" wide rim fits okay) so adding 1 inch on the adapter for the front seems logical to me?. 2" in the back?. ( I really wouldn't want that) But it may look nice ? Idk.
The offset being 42 to 43mm on the front *edit rear if i swapped should I even worry about that?. What about the front 42 to 45mm?
Im sorry if this is confusing as I don't really know what else I need.

I’m not big on adapting one bolt circle to another, but I would think keep the adapter the same front and rear.
Now that being said , measure the rims to ensure those rears don’t allow the tire to contact anything on the inside or outside.
The rear wheel opening flange comes to mind

These WV rally rims are 35 mm offset and that 7 mm allowed the tire to rub . Now the rear is lowered 2”, that adds to the equation

225/35/19's will have a very short sidewall. That = to no 'give" to absorb bumps or rough road conditions.
Bottom line is that size tire will have a crappy ride.

A sidewall height of 3.1 inches

I replaced control arms, wheel hubs, added slotted/drilled rotors recently figured they could hold up. It's at 200k mi so it's been getting a lot TLC I've spent so much time on it id like to make more me. Also I got the rims in a trade , these adapters dont seem to be too pricey so I figured why not?

I wanted to lower it but I figured this would be a easier route to accomplish the look I want and still achieve it.
I'll check clearance on the rear tomorrow and see if I can slide by with a 1" adapter. I think 9.5s would look good from behind ,if they fit.

Welcome Dek- Most any FWD will have High positive offset rims.

RWD can have more neg offset. Measure twice at least before you buy anything.

I wouldn’t worry about how the tires look from behind, more about ride and control. You’re wise to try the rims and adapters first then consider lowering springs.

(Jack stands are on struts will sit about an inch higher up I just kinda hung it up there ) 1" seems like it will do the job but a 1/2 spacer may be needed , but then I'd have to worry about rolling fenders most likely .
personally I think these look stellar on this color of hhr, 1" adapters ordered , currently searching for used 225/35/19 possibly 225/40/19 rubber bands for fitting test. I will update in the coming days and I appreciate yalls input.
Now "if" everything works out right , should I keep the caddy logo or change it to chevy hmmm.
I'm all ears on suggestions , cant wait to see finished product myself.
