Tires sizes (Front & Rear)

Hi!!! I want to know your opinion about use in the front tires with size 225/45/R17, and on the rear 235/45/R17. Looks great with the lifting on the rear! This change could affect the performance/relliability of my hhr?

I'm not sure why you would want to run a shorter tire on the front. The 225/45 would be less than a 1/2" wider, and about a 1/2" shorter. Your speed would be about 1 mph fast at 60.

The 235/45 would be about 3/4" wider and just a hair shorter.

The biggest issue you would have is it would/could affect your antilock brakes. It would see it as the rear tires turning slower than the fronts.... the tire diameters need to be the same front and rear for the ABS to work properly.

Check out Lew's (Punkin Head) album...he's got taller rear tires on his that adds a rake to give a bit more sidepipe clearance:
