Using tires with out TMS

Hi
Looking into winter tires to put on my extra steel wheels and these wheels don't have the TMS on them.
Do you see any problem with this other than the indicator light staying on?
Thanks

The way I read in my Owners Manual, I think on 2010-2011 models you will get some odd things happening. Maybe I just read it wrong. My answer is : I don't know.

However, I have noticed the price of TPMS transmitters has come down. eBay used for about $10 new starting at $15.95.

One with OCD and one that can't spell.

Anyhow. No problem with running the winter tires with no TPMS(other than the light staying on)

Or. You could throw the regular rims/tires in the back of the car and fool the TPMS.

I have had two 2010 and my snow tires never had TPMS on them and I didn't have any problems at all as a matter of fact they are on now.

Other than the fact your sensor light is on?

Wasn't about the acronym. It was the "by" instead of "my".

Yes the light is on but the pain is every time you start it you got to hit the info button on the steering wheel to get rid of the message on the DIC
