You can go with out the sensors but like donbrew stated you can buy them fairly cheap on ebay.

That's what I did with my winter tires I think they cost me about 45 bucks for a set of four.

I just handed them to my tire installer and he put them in when he mounted the tires.

Bought 4 good used Michelin winter tires. Not going with TMPS because winter on Long Island doesn't last long.
Thanks for your input/help
P.S. Did I spell everything correct firemangeorge? lol.

Just as an update. The tires I bought are Michelin Arctic Alpin and I have to say Wow. Having our first Noreaster winter storm and these tires work great.
The other thing is I'm not using TPMS and the ECM hasn't turned the tire light on.

And the ECM won't turn it on. (The "E" stands for engine ) Pretty sure the TPMS goes through the BCM, but I could be wrong.

Sorry, Cat Man. Couldn't resist poking a little fun but also letting you learn also.

That makes sense if there are no sensors to sense!
The BCM will figure it out eventually.
Thanks Firemangeorge for the computer lessons

ECM,ECU,BCM what's in a name? You got the idea what I was talking about. Going out now after taking 3 hours to clear the driveway do to the storm and see when the BCM can know that I have no TPMS, Last night coming home was doing 40 for about 15/20 minutes and no light came on. Just lucky I guess.
