What do you think of the Tires (SS)??

Ok, I don't have a lot of miles on the SS, but I have been wondering if another tire might help with better traction and wear. I have always considered michelin a premo tire(pilot mxm4 stock) but I would like to know what tires others are using and why. Thanks.

The stock Michelin's on the SS aren't very good. Dry traction= just fair
Wet traction= poor. Ride quality and road noise= poor.
Tire choices have been discussed many times here. Use the search function and you will find numerous threads on "tire choice opinions".

The stockers are ok for awhile but if your going to play look for a better shoe. Ive got 49k on mine and they look great, but noticing lately on damp roads they want to slide in the corners, though I attribute that to road surface as my LS with Continentals will slip too.As with all tires the longer u drive the harder they get.

the michelens suck! - there is no traction when wet - forget about snow!
they are loud! next fall I am buying Goodyear tires.

id like to see some model numbers to research and what is the fattest tire we can fit on the stock rim without rubbing issues on stock suspension?
