Wheel adapter question,,, my FIRST post, be gentle on me

Long time lurker,,, my first post,, and I will start it off with a perhaps dumb question.

Have an already purchased 09 panel being delivered in a week or two and I have some very nice chrome Liquid Metal 18" wheels that are 6 lug 6-139.7 bolt pattern -10mm offset.

Is there an adapter made that would enable me to use the Liquid Metal wheels I already have ??? (they would look great on my white panel I think)

If there was an adapter that would work what are the cons to using wheel adapters (if any),,, I dont know as I have never used adapters.

Or, am I just better off selling the wheels I have and go from there.

Thanks much in advance for any help for the newbee.

Cheers
Davyo

While an adapter would likely work tires/ wheels are SUCH an important part of the car I wouldn't want them to be anything less than perfect.

Just my opinion YMMV

Sell the ones you have and buy the correct size for the new ride.

Thanks for the replys, and yea good advice I think.

Best to just sell of the 6 lug wheels and start fresh with wheels that fit the HHR,,, seems that 5x110 bolt pattern is a bit limiting in choices of wheels, but I have found some I do like,,, the American Racing "Casino's" are nice (since I live in Vegas that would be a good wheel choice),,,,, also the SportMax 056 is a nice looking wheel.

Thanks again everyone.

Cheers

There's a forum member, capp002, that may have a set of those AR casinos available..... He just installed some different wheels and was mentioning selling.

Hey Greybeard,,, yep,, I saw his posting and thought about contacting him about those Casino's but I spent a bit of money buying the panel so I wont have any extra cash for a few weeks or more.

Was just going to purchase wheels with my Discount Tire card but perhaps I will check with him to see how much he wants for the wheels.

Thanks GrayBeard

Cheers
