Yeah I was really just looking for a beater when I found Goldie. IME people in general don't take very good care of their vehicles but I am blessed with the ability to do all my own repairs/maintenance.
I love my HHR.

I think people get frustrated with anything that wears out, it’s easier to hate the whole car then do some research and figure out how to properly diagnose and repair the problem.
I still do all my own repairs also, except the AC , and tire mount and balance.

I really hit the lottery last time I purchased tires.(Discount Tire)4 General GMAX tires balanced and mounted for 225.00.
I get my oil from there for many years. Mobil 1 for our vehicles.. Good score on the tires. That sounds like it was a while ago, tho..

While researching a part last night in the AC Delco website, I saw a tire valve listed at $17 and an SS TPMS valve and monitor listed for $87. Prices are thru the roof!!
