Welcome back-

You might wanna do a search & see the pics of that rear bar.. It's very poorly designed. & prone to breakage.

Thanks sleeper. I saw Jays post which was the only one I could find on here that had had issues with the eibach. The Kit was free basically because I received a tirerack giftcard from family so it's worth trying to me. I even googled and searched and could only find Jays negative experience. I pray I don't have the same but if so it's fine tax time is around the corner and a ttr bar is but a click away.

New Eibach rear bar has been re designed for about 2 years now. They did have a problem, but redesigned it. Works good now.

I broke two of the older design Eibach sway bars before I put the new design on.Eibach was very good at standing behind their product and sending me new ones at no cost to me.I got one of the 1st of the new design when they released it and have not had any problems with it.Seems the old design had a weakness where it would break at the mounting points.

Awesome thanks for the info and pics nole. I actually can see how the curves design could put more stress at the forward bolt hole, especially with our torsion bar rear. I have used eibach before and considered them a top teir suspension manufacturer, so I'm glad to hear they straightened things out. Btw nice hhr and I actually grew up around lake city Florida, a bit north of gainesville. :-)

Lol I'm stuck in KY now...I think you get stoned rooting for any other team. I root for any FL team in football UF FSU, MIAMI, LOL.... Mostly UF because UK plays them regularly.
