Winter wheels and Tires.

Hi everyone, Im looking for winter wheels and Tires. I have the 2006 HHR LT

Im wondering if a Chevy Cobalt wheel is same bolt pattern, backspacing etc.

Thanks for help. I would rather me and car go to warm climate but just not feasible at this time.

The 5 lug Cobalt wheels are a direct fit to the HHR. I'm, along with many others are running them on our HHR'S.

^^^ What he said, but realize there are 4 bolt Colbalts out there too. So check out what you are buying first and make sure they are the 5 bolt....

Related question: Won't wheels from Malibus or G6s fit, too? I thought somebody was running some Malibu wheels here. I'd guess that some of more boring wheels might be cheaper on the used market - if they fit.

Has anyone tried 15 inch rims(maybe for winter usage) on an HHR?Any clearance issues around the caliper? BTW-205/65R-15 tires are the same diameter as the 215/50-17s that are on many of our cars.

Steel Smoothies

For the winter, thinking of going 'retro' with chrome rings and baby moons - then return back to my "Sport Edition" chrome mags in the spring.

Anyone aware of 'steel smoothies' that are compatible with 06 HHR?

Responses appreciated.
