adventure

Occurred 3 days ago.

I'm at home.
Parking security called me. He says: Come to the parking lot, your car is slightly damaged.
I come to the parking. The guard holds a drunken idiot's collar.
This idiot got drunk and wandered in the parking lot. He also keeps his car there. He got into his car to warm up the engine. Finished sheep! Then he decided to make a rut in the snow. Through the entire parking lot, he drove in reverse and broke my car.
Damaged front bumper, hood, grill.
Drunk tried to escape. I had to touch his face.
He hardly spoke, he could hardly walk. He was afraid of the police - they take away driver's license for drunk driving.
I took his car. I explained to him. If he fails offset my losses, I selling his car on an auto dismantling (spare parts, although it is not very legal). An insurance policy he has - but the insurer is almost bankrupt.
I met his wife, I asked for money from her. But she did not give money. She said she did not give a penny for this scum. Because they are divorced. Because he is Drunk for 2 weeks. Because he interferes with the division of property and she is forced to live together.
The next day I again came to his house. The picture is awful. Drunk bastard drunker than I was yesterday. On the floor, broken crockery and urine. Woman bruised. Afraid to stand up from his chair. He hits her second day of what has not given me money. He broke the door lock so that She did not run away and that I did not come to him. When I caught him, he tried to beat me piece of iron. Im forced to again beat his face.
In the evening, my colleague introduced me to some Bandits that they bought out my losses and took the alcoholic car .
Fortunately, yesterday, he sobered up and was able to talk sensibly. He decided to save his car. He agreed with his ex-wife of property division. In gratitude, she offset my losses. Friends - The Bandits also did not take offense, I bought them 2 bottles of Armenian cognac. They offered to ask for help at any time.

Drunken driving - a great sin.

I would imagine the punishment in Russia for a DUI is pretty severe.

Sorry to hear it happened.

Drunk driving - depriving drivers license 1,5 - 3 years.
Or bribe a policeman 40 000 - 70 000 rubles (1350 - 2400 dollars).

Thank you for your compassion. Fortunately, everything ended well.

This case - the horror, even for Russia. Usually, insurance is working acceptably.
But I live in the working area. Bastards and idiots enough.

Again I am glad the quality of GM. HHR is very strong car. European car does not have survived.

Bumper is not broken. But needs coloring.
Hood - metal straightening and coloring.
Grill - gluing and coloring.

Very sorry to hear what you went through geg. It is sad when you have to take the law into your own hands, but it sounds like you were left with no choice in the matter. Please keep us updated on the repairs to your HHR.

Such should be the drunk driving laws here in the States. They can kill people and still walk away with only a year in jail.

I imagine that it is extremely difficult to get replacement parts in Russia? Hope that you can get it fixed. Definitely makes for interesting reading.
