Whenever something breaks or gets messed up on my ride I see it as an opportunity to upgrade. Might as well make the best out of a bad situation.

Well, if anything good is to come from this.... I appriciate you taking pictures to show the damage. I see damage along with what it looks like under the Bowtie, I was wondering. It now appears it's not too diffuclut to remove. (from your second hand experience)
Now I wont be so afraid to try to remove mine before painting it.

 

I'm with CH on this one. It sucks that someone messed with your HHR, but it does make a good opportunity to paint the new emblem before it goes on.

 

Dude that sucks. Hope you get it fixed and maybe find out who did this.

 

I prefer a Glock 40cal. but either way make sure to aim for the reproductive parts to prevent their gene pool from populating any farther

Yes, she did report it to the police but it is not a big deal to them. Seems Walmart has too many crimes that don't get solved and they don't press charges most of the time. The manager at Walmart did take my police case number and said he will watch for the people again. He had a complete description of the guy and truck but no tag number. He said the guy just pulled up as close as he could and then leaned out the window and popped the rear emblem. The front one was too low and when he tried to do that one it split in half. He also said that their video probably captured some of it. I am not waiting by the phone for a resolution.............

 

HHRGRAPHICS,,,,,,,,Sorry about your HHR..guess this is something to watch out for....Did Walmart let you see the video? If not, I'd ride their ass til I saw it....The Police re-act to everything in Dollar value....this, not being very expensive will not get much of a reaction from the police....but it's the principle of it and I say it calls for a capecktomy....remove the knee caps of the bastard that did this with what ever caliber or gauge is availble at the time.......

 

That just seems to be the way it is anymore! You never know where or when you, or your vehicle, are going to cross paths with some low life two-bit thug who doesn't respect you, or your property!
