Wow...that's a really reasonable estimate. At least you'll be getting the damage fixed...but I would suggest the boards as soon as possible. Just my opinion though...and glad to hear it's not too much damage.

I found a set of running boards on ebay that were factory gm ones for 280 bucks and install was a snap!! no drilling etc just a lil time and patience!

Mimi (my HHR) is now back to her beautiful self again. And the repair cost even less than the estimate. Only $195. I'll take a picture later to post in the purple HHR thread.
