Not really....They make aftermarket motor mount inserts and traction bars for them...Practically gets rids of most of the torque steer.

Easy upgrade with those mods (poly motor mount inserts/traction bars),plus larger sway bars/coilovers/strut bar/fender braces..That'll help handling

Also the MOPAR Stage 1 performance ECU is available...Increases HP and torque..

I used to own an HHR 2LT,it was great,no complaints (except for the pesky rotor problems)

Sold it to my brother-in-law...Was choosing between the HHR SS and the CSRT...Made my choice on the CSRT...Stout motor,Getrag 6-spd trans....Lots of mods available..

I do respect for the HHR SS;they're very nice vehicles and will surprise quite a few vehicles and nice mods for them are available...

Nahhh..Motor mount inserts (Modern Performance) about 100.00;traction bars (BWoody) about 150.00 or so..
I'm pretty sure that those two vendors have stuff for HHRs..

Oops;stand corrected the stuff is for Cobalts SSs

I get some now with with my new mods...Time to adjust them again;LOL!!!
