HHR SS Workout on morning commute

I drive about 60 miles each way to work and back, about 40 of it on the interstate. This morning I am cruising down the hiway and here comes a Charger R/T and a BMW haulling AZZ. I was passing so I punched it a little and pulled over to let them by. I decided what the hell let's give the SS a workout. I pulled in behind them and kept pace. They reached triple digits a couple of times when traffic allowed ( I go against traffic so it is fairly sparse). Other than speed no dangerous manuvers. The SS performed great, handled great and kept up until I reach my exit. I am not sure what they thought, but I was impressed. The suspension handled the curves at speed and was smooth all the way. It had plenty of power and never skipped a beat. It is great to know that it has the engineering and the guts if you need it. I can already hear it, you shouldn't do this on public roads. You can't have this kind of power under your foot and not try it once in a while. It's alot better than driving a 70 Duster at 145 MPH while wasted, but that was a few years ago. Don't gripe just have fun.
