It's funny reading the comments on youtube. People just have no clue, no idea or do absolutely no reasearch on the HHR SS and just how much horsepower it has..

 

thats fine didnt buy my car to race genius i bought it because i have a baby other then that its an ok n/a. Also bring ur SS to cecil county dragway one friday and my brother can show u and thing or two about a civic

 

or you can come down to texas and i will show your brother what a harley and or a jeep can do to a civic

see what so crazy is a evo 9 should never never lose to a hhr SS a stock evo with 24lbs of boost and a little meth injection does 11.4 i seen it done

 

i think hes friends evo is really a lancer with all the evo 9 parts on it see there interchangeable

 

A stock Evo 9 is 285hp, weighs about 3200lbs, his tuned HHR SS is at about 290hp at a little past 3300lbs.

The Evo will win from a stop simply because you get better launches with AWD, but from a roll, AWD isn't much of an advantage anymore so it's nothing that's too out of the ordinary, especially when the tuned HHR SS puts out more low end torque.
