curb weight on the mercedes is 4300 lbs....thas 1000 lbs more than the ss. yeah the benz should definately come out on top but it certainly wont be a run away.

I got to agree 450 hp 450 tq will move 4000 lbs quickly. My bmw has 300 and weighs 5400 and seems to get to 100 bout the same as the SS hard to tell its so much smoother,no drama, just gone.

For around $80 grand? I would hope that the AMG would beat a $22k HHR SS. Not so amazing to me.

What amazes me is what the little HHR SS can do for the measily $22 grand.
