The crow foot tool just takes up too much room . Alternatively you can remove the exhaust manifold

This pipe assembly, it’s above the fluid pan and filter, if there’s a leak in these pipes the car won’t move.

With the side cover off the solenoids are easy to replace Note the subframe is dropped several inches

Notice the melting plastic clip on the second solenoid, this was the #2 , 3-4 solenoid

The ignition switch holds all the positions within the switch ACC , RUN and Start. A push to start button would simply replace the existing start temporary function of the switch.

See the seal on the canister side (left) port above my thumb ? That usually gets tossed with the old part . Careful removing it , at this age it’ll be brittle.

There are 2 wires under the red plastic cover, one to the battery and the other goes down to the starter. There’s a wire that connects to the power steering, you can see it just to the left .

I was never thrilled when my service manager handed me a set of these to install in some kids used Camaro or Rustang! Most times the gauges and labour to install cost more then they paid for the car! I always would remove these from any used car I purchased.

That’s it , one bolt, two hoses and 1 electrical plug. Try and blow air through it.
