Boyd sent me these Tomahawk wheels, notice they have 6 openings! They a 5 bolt pattern, they would normally have just 5 openings. Boyd said they were his one mistake on the C&C machine , gave me a great deal because of it .

Now, push all fuses and relays firmly into place in the fuse box.

This is a very common issue, we have these problems pop up 2 or 3 times a week.

I suggest you disconnect the negative terminal at the battery while you’re working on the wiring at the fuse box and starter. Check the alternator connection as well. Then reattach the battery negative cable .

Double check it , don’t forget the engine leans back a little. Use a screw driver thru the #1 spark plug hole!

I don’t see how it can be upside down, but check your work, match it to the head and the exhaust manifold

This much slack is reason to change the timing chain, the front guide in this case was fine, but if you’re planning on keeping your HHR invest in the ZZP front guide and replacing the upper bolt

This Melling bolt has been in the BlackSwan for two timing chain sets since 2019. Has 125,000 miles on it ! I also installed the ZZP front guide last timing chain set and it has 45,000 miles on it , no issues.

These four bolts, notice we haven’t spent any money on parts yet! Just simple things that can cause this communication problem.

This was my chain kit from Evergreen after just 20,000 miles, stretched , I bid $35.00 on EBay and won, not a very good prize! Stick with Cloyes or GM .
