So you're saying if you run 93 pump gas, wait until you're half full then fill up with e85 to get E47?
Yes...

8 gallons of E10 91/93 gasoline + 8 gallons of E85 = E47

The Math:
8 x E10 = 80
8 x E85 = 680
80 + 680 = 760
760 divided by 16 = 47.5 or E47.5
And we just call it E47...

It's a silmple half & half mixture, that's easy to remember
You don't have to be 'dead' accurate on this & you will might be a gallon or two off at 1st, but the ECM will take care of it.
BUT with each fill-up AFTER you 1st mix, be it full or partial, do a half & half mix.
You will know how much you need to fill-up by knowing what your gas gauge is telling you.

Each 'mark' on the gauge is appox: 2 gallons, so if your down 6 'marks' = 11 gallons total needed, 5.5 gallons of E10 91/93 gasoline + 5.5 gallons of E85
2 'marks' = 3 gallons total needed. 1.5 gallons of E10 91/93 gasoline + 1.5 gallons of E85
8 'marks' = 15 gallons total needed & you must be empty...
Remember you don't have to be 'dead' on accurate.
If I think that I need 8 gallons total I'll go to the 1st pump open, be it E10 or E85,
I'll then put in 4 gallons, then I'll go to the other pump to completely fill-up.
Maybe it will be 4, or maybe it will be 3, or maybe it will be 5.
Doesn't matter as you're close enough.
Over time you will grt real accurate, & really get to know what your gauge is telling you.

All good to know. There's an e85 station not too far from me. Might have to give this a try when I get HPT!
