Power Window Switches

Ok, everyone hates the location of the switches, myself included. What I'm wondering is, would it be possible to rewire the door lock switch to a power window switch. I never use them, since it has keyless entry. Thoughts?

I've had the door panels off and the lock switches out. Totally different switches. With the way the electronics are now I doubt it can be rewired.

I bet you could get an extra set of switches though, tap into the existing, and run the wires to the door.

That's what I was thinking, get a set of switches from the rear doors and change 'em out. But, running wires from the existing to the doors is more than I want to handle right now.

Someone do this mod, and a how-to!

I didn't care for the placement of the switches at first, but over time I've grown used to them, and like them better where they are. I've even caught myself reaching toward the center of our van to roll down the windows a few times But then again I've been told I'm a bit different more than once.

I don't mind at all where they are...Saturn has had them there for years but I guess if you don't have a Saturn this doesn't really relate...

All to say I don't hate the location

Probably the best location would be on the console, if there was room. But I sure like where they are now better than on the door. Yes, they took some getting used to. But now I prefer them there.
