You will....... even try to put the windows up in our other car the same way... just ended up putting my fingers in the ashtray

More and More Common

With the exception of the location in front of the shift lever. My former (shudder) Equniox also had the window switches at the console. Located at the alternate end form HHR.

As stated, you get used to what you have.

I like them where they are. Different is good......Thats why I like the HHR. IT doesn't look like the "cookie-cutter" cars out there.

Really How many times do you actually use all those switches?

I like them where they are, no problems getting used to them. I still watch the windshield wipers when I put them up as my voyager used to cycle the wipers when I used the power windows

Exactly. When you have kids you have to let the window down for the happy meals. Going to a nice restaurant is a rare occasion.
