I'm going out on a limb here... your dealer knows not of what he speaks. Since he doesn't, maybe you should spend your money elsewhere. Crateenginedepot is a good place to start, IMO.

Where is it listed the recommended install time?
I need it for the dealer, they have no clue
They haven't done one, and I'm not paying for training

Have them call Rockenbach Chevrolet in Grayslake, IL.

They have done several now and have lowered their install charge from 1.5 hours to 1 hour all in.

I ordered mine from CrateEngineDepot.com but they are based at Rockenbach so it makes it quite a lot easier. They have worked closely with the dealership to get this Stage 1 upgrade running smoothly.

It also helps that I bought my SS at Rockenbach so I see Tom from CED all the time when I take it back for oil changes, etc.
